Health insurance Coverage
  • Call your medical insurance company to verify whether or not acupuncture is covered.  If you are not sure we will be happy to verify coverage for you.
  •   If you will be using insurance to pay for your treatments, then please call the office ahead of time and let us know so that we can verify your coverage. 
  • Please bring your insurance card with you to your first acupuncture appointment. 
  • Additionally, if your company benefits include a Health Savings Account, acupuncture may be covered under the list of services of your Flexible Spending Account.  Please check with your employer, acupuncture is often a covered service. 
Insurance information

I am credentialed In-Network Provider for BCBS of New Jessey, BCBS Horizon, Cigna, and United Healthcare.  Currently for all others, I am an Out-of-Network Provider. For Out-of-Network clients, payment is due at the time of treatment, but upon request I can provide you with paperwork to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.  Please note that not all health plans cover acupuncture and deductibles may apply.  Please note, Medicare does not cover acupuncture at this time. 

Confidentiality policy

Patient information is kept private and confidential.  When information is requested for the purposes of patient insurance or medical treatment, it may be released with explicit written permission by the patient.  All Patients are provided with a copy of the HIPAA Privacy Policy.
